Who can sell

Businesses and individuals who can legally sell in India may apply through Seller Hub. You must be at least 18 and able to enter contracts. Some categories need extra approval, described in our Prohibited and restricted items policy.

What buyers must see

As the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 require, your business name, address, customer care contact and rating are shown to buyers. Every listing must include the total price including all taxes and charges, country of origin, the importer's details for imported goods, the return, refund, exchange and warranty terms, the delivery time, and a fair description with real photos.

Listing standards

  • Use photos of the actual product on a clean background; no misleading stock images.
  • Describe size, material, condition and contents accurately.
  • Do not inflate the MRP or create fake discounts.
  • Do not copy other sellers' text or photos, or use brands you are not allowed to sell.
  • Do not list items from the Prohibited list or restricted items without approval.
  • Keep stock and prices accurate; out-of-stock cancellations hurt your rating.

Performance standards

MeasureTarget
Dispatch within the promised time95% or more of orders
Seller-side cancellationsUnder 2.5% of orders
Reply to buyer messagesWithin 24 hours
Valid complaints (wrong, damaged, not as described)Under 1% of orders

Sellers below target get a warning and a plan to improve. Continued misses may reduce visibility or lead to suspension.

Returns, refunds and warranty

You must accept returns that meet our Returns and refunds policy and any world rules for your category, and honour the warranty you list. Refunds approved under our policies are deducted from your payouts. You may dispute a return through Seller Hub with evidence within 7 days of receiving it back.

Fees, taxes and payouts

The commission, fixed fees and any shipping charges for your category are shown in Seller Hub before you list, and in each order's settlement. We pay out the order value minus those fees and applicable taxes, including TCS under GST and TDS under the Income Tax Act where required, after delivery and the end of the return window. Payout statements and tax documents are available in Seller Hub.

How listings are ranked

Search results and recommendations are ranked by relevance to the search, price, delivery speed, ratings and reviews, and seller performance. Sponsored listings are labelled as Sponsored. We do not give any seller preferential treatment that is not disclosed here.

Buyer data

You receive buyer details only to fulfil orders. You must not use them for marketing, share them, or contact buyers outside the platform except to deliver the order, and you must protect them as required by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Enforcement and appeals

If a seller breaks this policy, we may remove listings, hold payouts linked to disputed orders, lower visibility, suspend or close the account, and report illegal activity to the authorities. We tell you the reason. You can appeal through Seller Hub support with evidence, and we will respond within 7 working days.

Can I offer my own discounts?

Yes, through Seller Hub, as long as the MRP and discount are genuine.
